Montessori Children's House runs a two day (kindergarten) and three day (preprep) per week program.

Hours: 9:00am – 2:30pm

Group A and B are both multi-aged groups with 3-4 year olds attending the kindergarten and 4-5 year olds attending the preprep. There are 22 children in each group.

If your child finds it difficult to manage the full two or three days per week when he / she starts, a reduced programme may be arranged with the Director. However, full fees are payable.

Staff/Child Ratio

There are three Montessori trained staff to each group. These include a Director / teacher and two assistant teachers, one full-time and one part-time.

Enrolment

To enrol your child please download the Waiting List Form (MS Word), and return the completed form by post or fax. We will enter your child's name on the waiting list as soon as we receive the completed form. Please see the table below for the applicable fees.

Once your child's name is on the waiting list, you will receive an invitation to some functions.

The sooner your child's name is entered on the list, the sooner he / she can be offered a place. You may like to visit the centre and talk with staff members. If so, please contact the centre by telephone.

* Confirmation Bond

A Confirmation/Enrolment Bond of $500.00 is required to secure a place at MCH. This bond will be refundable against the final term’s fees.

ONE FULL TERM’S WRITTEN NOTICE
 is required for any child leaving MCH. If insufficient notice is given, the fees will be charged on a pro rata basis and deducted from the Confirmation Bond until the position is filled.
