Meet our warm, caring and dedicated staff.
Lucy has been working in Montessori Early Childhood settings for over 11 years. She is passionate about connecting with children by discovering their interests and incorporating these throughout the environment. Lucy enjoys time in nature with her family, often collecting natural found items to share with the children, reading, cooking … and eating, and creative activities.
At the MCH Lucy is the Teacher for the two, two day kindergarten programs and the Centre Director.
Lucy also enjoys her role as Educational Leader, mentoring staff and ensuring they are embracing current theories as well as the Montessori method. Having been a parent, committee member and a previous staff member for 8 years, Lucy is involved in all areas of the Infant’s House and Children’s House.
Sharon is the Educator across both groups. Sharon first worked at the MCH and MIH when Lucy and Sam’s children were in attendance, so she comes very highly recommended!
Sharon has worked at seven different Montessori Centres throughout Brisbane over the past 26 years. She brings a wide range of experience along with her calm and caring nature. She is dedicated to every individual child in her care and loves to help the child be who they want to be, to develop their independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
During her spare times Sharon loves going kayaking or bush walking with friends and also enjoys art and craft activities.
As you can see she is also a lot of fun!
